Method Makeup Academy, Northern California’s 1st Professional Makeup School, has been teaching Professional Makeup since 2008. We offer the intense training in the history, theory and application of professional beauty makeup. Our classes are great for the most basic beginner as well as persons with some professional experience and training who are seeking to hone their skills. Our Pro Makeup Course comes with a Certificate of Completion for Professional Makeup Application and a Professional Makeup Kit. We also offer individual Private Makeup Lessons for Professionals as well as individuals for personal use. Each of our classes offer a mixture of lecture, demonstration and hands on application. A diploma or license is not required to attend our Pro Makeup Course. The course is designed for professionals, however many of our students attend simply to enhance their skills on a personal level.
The Professional aspect of this course focuses on Bridal and Photo Shoot photography. It covers color matching,
contouring, highlighting, eye shadow application, false lash application and all aspects of classic makeup application. The Business Development portion of the course covers Business Plans, Customer Service, Professional Appearance and more.
Our instructors are working professionals who work in both the bridal industry and with professional photographers and models.
Our classes are small and intimate, enabling our students to get more focused and individual attention from our instructors.

The certificate received at the successful completion of the Pro Makeup Course can be used to enhance your resume as well as get you professional discounts from MAC, NARS, Smashbox and other cosmetic lines. It will also help you in finding work with local salons and spas, at cosmetic counters and the education is invaluable if you wish to start your own business offering professional makeup services.
The Professional Makeup Course is a 10 week course meeting once a week for 4 hrs.
Tuition cost for the Professional Makeup Course is $2395 and includes a Professional Makeup Kit. The Professional Makeup Kit includes: Foundation, Concealer Palette, Color Correcting Palette, Pressed Powder Palette, 1 Eye Shadow Palette and a Professional Brush Set.
At this time we do not offer financial aide, however we do offer Payment options in Sacramento, CA.
Payments break down as follows:
A non-refundable deposit of $200 is made up front to guarantee a place in class. This deposit though non-refundable applies to your total balance.
On the first day of class another payment of $550.00 would be made. 8 additional payments of can then be made over the next 8 weeks to pay off the remaining balance.
If you sign up with a friend in the same class you will each receive $100 off tuition total.
