This two day work shop covers both Classic and Volume Lash Extension application. Done over two days, one on one lessons with an instructor walks you through the full process. Your instructor will take you through kit & supply set up, sanitation and step by step hands on application on a model provided by Method Makeup Academy. The first day will cover Kit & Supply Set up, Sanitation and Classic Lash Extensions practiced on a live model. Day two will cover Volume Lash Extension application with practice on a live model.
At the completion of this private one on one instruction, students who meet the requirements of the course will receive a Certificate of Completion from Method Makeup Academy.
All students will be provided with a Lash Extension Kit that includes supplies for Classic and Volume Lash Extension. Kits by Paris Lash Academy come with 15% off discount for 1 year on all supplies from Paris Lash Academy for all graduates.

Eyelash Extension FAQ’s
What Are Eyelash Extensions?
Eyelash extension is an advanced technique that lengthens and thickens eyelashes. They are single strands of lashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash.
How long will Eyelash Extensions Last?
When properly applied and cared for, eyelash extensions will last for four to six weeks.
What is a fill and how often should your client get one?
Fills are done every three to four weeks depending on care and how quickly your client’s eyelashes grow. An eyelash extension fill takes a shorter time to do, and your prices should reflect that.
Why do clients lose some of their lashes eyelashes?
Due to the natural growth cycle of lashes your client will find that their natural eyelashes shed every 60-90 days as new ones grows in. This can speed up the need for Fills or cause some shedding after the initial appointment.
Will extensions damage your client’s natural eyelashes?
Yes and no. Yes, their lashes can be damaged if they do not properly care for their lashes. No, extensions properly applied by a certified, trained technician who uses quality products should not as long as they care for them properly.
Concern for allergies to the products, is this common?
True allergic reactions do happen, but are rare. If clients have developed an allergic reaction they may still wear extensions with some changes made to the aftercare process. What is more common is eye infection due to improperly washing and caring for their lashes. Waiting 24 hours to wash lashes and not washing their eyelashes the entire time they wear them are the most common causes of infections. This is the most common reason wearers lose their lashes prematurely.
Can Clients use eyelash growth products with their extensions?
Lash growth products that contain steroids change the composition of their lashes and accelerate eyelash shedding cycle, therefore we cannot guarantee the outcome. Natural lash growth products containing peptides are wonderful and will have no adverse effect on the longevity of extensions.
Can you clients still use mascara?
They will not need to use mascara with their lash extensions, but for nights that they want extra drama they can use a water-based mascara.
