Tosh grew up with a passion for all things artistic. In high school she was the number one girl to call for a crisp Cut Crease during prom season. Through college Tosh studied painting and clay sculpture, furthering her knowledge in color theory and the contours of human facial structure. Tosh sculpted full busts and sketched countless women’s faces trying to pin down the anatomic patterns of every ethnicity. After college she found herself growing more and more interested in makeup. She would invite friends and family over to practice her techniques on different face shapes and skin tones, perfecting herself already extensive skill set. Tosh spent hundreds of hours honing in on special effects makeup techniques to broaden her abilities and still goes all out every Halloween on herself and her three children. After years of practice she reconnected with an old family friend, Arrvada, owner of Personify Bridal and Method Makeup Academy. Working with Method Makeup Academy Tosh has become one of their main Instructors. She teaches the Monday night Pro Makeup Classes and is the lead Special FX instructor. In addition to her role as an educator, Tosh is one of Personify Bridal’s Lead Makeup artists and continues to push herself creatively every day. She is Personify’s “Liner Magician” known by her colleagues for applying the perfect winged eyeliner on any eye.

Method Makeup Academy, Sacramento’s Makeup School
